Official Websites...

Mattel's official online collectors club. Has auctions, collector spotlight and forums for an older age group.

Hotwheels, the first main contender to rival Matchbox. Mattel, the creators of Hotwheels are now the owners of both firms.

An impressive new makeover. 2006 range currently on display along side snippets of the recent collectibles. Some good pictures...

A different approach to basically the same thing. On the whole a better website. Slightly better navigation bar and ranges can be traced back to 2002. A great way to polish up on your german skills and to find out more from the collectors point of view...

MICA: The Matchbox International Collectors association's Official site. (Requires Membership to access the more interesting parts of the site.)

Mattel currently owns Matchbox and Hotwheels. Site offers consumer support regarding all products.

Other collectors on the web...

Another fantastic little site I stumbled across whilst researching the ' Superfast Range.' Brilliant for selecting and researching a range to collect accompanied by a well constructed gallery with a good nav bar.

Fantastic site packed with information about the introduction of superfast in 1969 and has model databases right up to present day. Worth a look!

A third fantastic website I have come across. Well known to those in the trade and uses a particularly good extract from Charlie Mack's 'The Encyclopedia of Matchbox Toys,' avaliable from Amazon book shop. Also includes personal history and interesting unrelated articles accesible from his main homepage.

A german collector particularly interested in the Regular Wheel period of Matchbox., aims to display his collection on the net to share with others. Great site, inc. pictures, links and box identification pages...

Retailer and Sellers...

eBay auctions second-hand and new

die-cast toys of all brand names along with other unrelated items. Be sure to type in a specific search to find what you need...

Vectis auction site auctions; Matchbox; Dinky and Corgi die-cast toys. Personally I found his site particularly difficult to navigate around, although it has been updated since then.
